JAIMS is based on SIAMED which has been developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization, the European Medicines Agency and the Instituto Nacional de Higiene R. Rangel of Venezuela. It is based on over 20 years of experience of work with over 30 national regulatory authorities. Its implementation in Myanmar has been supported by the Asian Development Bank.
